Photo Shoot 1

Today I managed to hold my first photo shoot in which I was meant to be taking photos of my models Alex and Harriet. Unfortunately Harriet is ill so I will either reschedule her shoot or find another model as I don't know how long she will be off for. On the other hand, my photo shoot with Alex was a success. We took some photos outside against a brick wall background and managed to get different angled shots with different levels of zoom. Also Alex managed to supply different tops to show a variety in his attire and in the pictures. I plan on editing the images slightly to improve the lighting and also to improve the image itself. I will crop all the images to get rid of any unnecessary space on the image. On this post I will add some of the images I have taken and will talk through them and talk about the positives and negatives. In this shoot I took a total of 21 images.
I took this photo at the start of the shoot. I did this to make sure that the conditions were ok for me to take photos on. This is a picture of the background I have used in all the photos and I took an image to assess the lighting of the area of which I was taking the photo of and to make I would be able to take decent photos on the camera for my magazine.
This is a good photo to use on my magazine as the quality is quite professional. In my opinion the photo isn't blurry and also the bricks are perfectly lined up with my model. The outfit the model is wearing goes well together and contrasts with the background allowing the model to stand out. I will hopefully be using this photo on my magazine front cover or my contents page.
I feel that I will be less likely to use this photo in my magazine as it is blurry and will not be suitable as it will make my production look less professional.
This photo, like the first one that contained a model, is a high quality photo that isn't blurry so will be suitable for my magazine. The outfit is different to what the model is wearing in the other photos so if I wanted to use more than one image of this model I will be able to show some sort of variety.
In this photo the model is in the same pose as the last one, however I took this photo at a slight angle to add effect. I may use this one instead to show a variety of angle. However, this image is slightly more blurry than the other images so I may use another angled image.
I like this photo as it is clear and not blurry but also the model is in a relaxed, casual pose. The camera is at a slight angle as well, which creates and effect.
